Tutorial: Create screens and organize them Print This Page

First, we start the MockupScreens application and we get the following screen:

The screen is divided in two parts. In the right, there is a list of scenarios for our project. Currently, there is a default scenario named "Main scenario" and predefined templates under “TEMPLATES”. Our project has a name "Project" which isn't very illuminating, so we change the name to “Employee database”: now, right-click on “New project”, choose “Rename project...” and enter “Employee database”. In the same way rename the "Main scenario" to "Check Employee": right-click on scenario name and then use “Rename scenario...” command.

Left panel displays the screens for selected scenario, and is currently empty because we haven't created any. We'll need two screens. Press the <Insert> key two times. You can also click on the “New screen” icon, the leftmost on the top toolbar “Screen” icons.

Note that the status bar always shows instructions for the exact action you are about to do: as you move the mouse over the commands or when you change the field you are editing, instructions change to give you more precise help.

Now we have two screens in the main scenario. We'll rename screens according to the steps in scenario: 1."Find Employee" and 2. "Employee Details". Just right click on each screen and change it's name.
